Funniest_Memes_chocolate-comes-from-cocoa-which-is-a-tree_3180 And when I tell my clients to fill half their plate with salad and vegetables…little did I know that they could be indulging in a chocolate feast!!

Of course they’re not, they wouldn’t dare….. so I need to listen to my own advice and practice what I preach!

If you read my last post – part one – you’re up to date with how over the last few weeks I’ve left my health and waistline on the backburner. As I sit here right now, I’m literally feeling the consequences….on my tummy, thighs and as I was drying myself off this morning post shower, I found a new wobbly bit on my upper arm! I’m sure there was a toned muscle there not so long ago….. Arggghhhh!

So what to do and what have I done since I fessed up that not all is perfect in my world? I think assumptions are made, that as a mindset nutritionist I have it under complete control. That I do all the right things… eat all the right things… cook all the right things and do the right exercise.. all the time.

But I’m happy to admit that ain’t the case. I love living on the healthier side of life. When you’re in sync, I love how it makes me feel and the energy that I have. But sometimes, often when you least expect it, life throws curve balls your way and you can be taken off course. I recognise this has happened to me of late and that is the first step in making positive change.

There are three requirements for change:
  1. It’s a problem to YOU
  2. You know it can be different for You
  3. It’s up to YOU to make it different.

Once you accept this then who says change has to be difficult?

You can choose to change quickly if you want to. You can decide to change easily or not.

You have the choice… and so do I.

If I choose I can continue to leave my health and wobbly bits on the back burner or not. It’s my choice. I can’t blame other people or other events for what I don’t achieve, because in the end I control me …no one else does.

SO rather than see these past weeks of havoc as a failure I can take the time now to look at this curveball as one of life’s little setbacks. Take a deep breath ..again… finds its purpose, learn from it and move forward..without the chocolate and ice cream!

There is no failure only feedback. If you’re not getting the result you want then it’s time to do something different.

It’s time for me to do something different!

Be Healthy, Happy & Amazing !
